Show Information
Horses/ponies: May only compete once with one rider and members may enter on no more than two ponies. Entries may be limited on first come first served depending on demand. Horses/ponies to be plaited for the dressage phase. Dress Code: Jacket, shirt and tie. It is recommended that body protectors are worn and hats must be tagged to ensure compliance to Pony Club standards. Tack should be in accordance with Pony Club Rules.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment. Entries: £10.00. Entries via My Riding Life by Sunday 9 May 2021. No late entries.

COVID 19 IMPLICATIONS – Please read below COVID rules. Disclaimer: 1) Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 2) The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 3) Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Jersey Drag Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you. COVID 19 RULES In order to comply with Pony Club Head Office UK, insurance and Jersey Government (Sports) you must comply with the following rules in addition to our standard rules and conditions. It is important that you read them and follow them or the committee may be obliged to ask you to leave and potentially report you. In addition, there will be a register which must be completed by all those who enter the show ground so that if someone was to contract the virus Public Health can be informed of any potentials at risk. 1. Entries must be made and paid via My Riding Life. In order to monitor risk the class entered will be checked and at the discretion of the committee. 2. Please use the sanitiser by the entrance gate BEFORE you touch the gate to open/close it. 3. Please park sensibly apart. If parking becomes congested, we will do our best to move things around. 4. Please tack up and mount at your lorry. 5. Once mounted please go to the collecting ring. Let the collecting ring steward open the gate. Please remember to stay 2m apart. 6. Helpers and supporters must be mindful of the guidance to remain at least 2m from each other and the arena 7. If we have a faller the first aider will attend to the competitor. The child’s helper will retrieve the pony and remain at a safe distance. 8. Please do not go into the arena to help with jumps unless asked to do so. Please use the sanitisers available and keep your distances from each other.
